The SpectraMax M4 can measure absorbance, fluorescence, luminescence, as well as time-resolved fluorescence. A Xenon lamp and dual monochromators allow high specificity in absorbance, excitation, and emission (fluorescence and luminescence) wavelengths.  The reader is compatible with 6 to 384-well plates as well as cuvettes. The plate and cuvette chambers are capable of temperatures between 2˚- 60˚C. The easy-to-use software, SoftMax Pro, controls the instrument and also provides statistical data analysis.
