Greg graduated from The University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Biomedical Science in 2011. He then completed an Honours year in Professor Wally Thomas’ lab before becoming a research assistant in 2013 and realising that science is “simply the best”. Between 2010 and 2012 Greg received three Dean’s Commendation for High Achievement. In 2014, Greg started his PhD focusing on the role of long non-coding RNAs in cardiac regeneration.
