Researcher biography

I completed my Bachelor of Biomedical Science degree at UQ, and did my honours year in the Scott Lab studying the anatomy of cerebellar circuits upstream of the Optic Tectum. I continued this project into my PhD, and am currently studying the anatomy and function of thalamic circuits that form within the Optic Tectum. My hope is that by the completion of my PhD, I will be able to shed some insight onto how the thalamus and tectum work together to filter visual information, and react to this information in a behaviourally appropriate way.
