Researcher biography

Dr Nirmal Marasini received a PhD (2017) in Nanomedicine and Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Queensland (IPRS scholarship and APA award), Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences (2012) (Korean Government scholarship) from Yeungnam University, South Korea and Bachelor of Pharmacy (2009) (merit scholarship after competitive national entrance examination) from Institute of Medicine, Tribhuvan University, Nepal. Dr Marasini joined SBMS in December 2016 and He was recently awarded with prestigious UQ Development Fellowship (2018-2021). His major research interests includes bioavailability enhancement of poorly aqueous soluble drugs, synthetic vaccine design, development of clinically relevant novel drug or vaccine delivery strategies to treat infectious diseases. Dr Marasini welcomes any potential research collaboration in development of drug/vaccine delivery systems and testing their efficacy in vitro and in vivo.
