Andrea did her BSc and MSc degrees at Northwest A&F University and started her PhD degree in the Teasdale group in 2015. She has worked on mechanisms in stem cell self-renewal using both cell biology and bioinformatics techniques. Currently, Andrea’s research is focused on defining the molecular action of retromer in the endosome-to-TGN trafficking pathway. She is also examining how Parkinson’s disease-associated familial variants impact the formation of endosome-derived transport carriers.
