The Laboratory for Human Craniofacial and Skeletal Identification (HuCS-ID Lab) is forensic bioanthropology laboratory.
The laboratory draws on diverse skills in human anatomy, quantitative shape-analysis, statistical computing, photography, robotics and medical imaging to improve and quantify human identification methods intrinsic to physical anthropology. The laboratory is intensely research active and is directed by CN Stephan.
The HuCS-ID Lab operates several online and open-access forensic anthropology data repositories and will soon provide training to a select number of high-achieving UQ postgraduate students.
