By simulating the O2 conditions experienced across a variety of disease or treatment models the isolated chamber allows better understand of how O2 levels affect various conditions such as sleep apnoea, systemic hypertension, pulmonary dysfunction, and ischemia in small animal models.
ProOx 110 oxygen sensor detects O2 inside the chamber and infuses either N2 to lower the O2 concentration, or O2 to raise it.
The setpoint of the compact oxygen control tool can be anywhere from 0.1-99.9% O2.
