Dr Kumar joined the Neuroinflammation laboratory after completing a PhD on the pharmacokinetics of complement C5a receptor antagonists. He currently works on the preclinical development of novel therapeutics for neurodegenerative disease. He has specific analytical expertise and conducts a number of assays aimed at progressing new therapeutics towards clinical trials.
