Body Donor Program Thanksgiving Ceremony
The annual UQ Body Donor Thanksgiving Ceremony allows UQ students and staff to thank donors and their families for the contribution body donors have made to research, science and medical teaching at the University. Members of the public are welcome to attend the ceremony.
2015 Thanksgiving Ceremony
The 183 people who generously donated their body to further medical science at UQ during the past year were honoured at a special ceremony which took place from 5.30pm to 6.30pm on Thursday 29 October at the UQ Centre, St Lucia Campus.
The 2015 Thanksgiving Ceremony featured a keynote address by internationally recognised anatomist Dr Walter Wood, OAM, who reflected on his thirty year career at UQ and the satisfaction he had received over the decades from passing on his love of anatomy to students.
