The Anastasios and Evangelia Lavidis Grant in Aid was established in 2015 and is maintained by gifts from Associate Professor Nickolas Lavidis, the Lavidis family, and staff members within the School of Biomedical Sciences.

The purpose of the bursary is to support Honours and Higher Degree Research students (PhD and MPhil) enrolled in the School of Biomedical Sciences (SBMS) and undertaking a research project with a primary advisor based in SBMS, who are facing financial hardship which is impeding their ability to progress in their studies.

Bursaries of up to $2,500 may be awarded any time during the year. Applications will be considered as they arise.
